Codebench’s PIVCheck software suite — an end-to-end card validation, authentication, and registration solution for HSPD-12 compliance — is now integrated with Cross Match’s Be.U Mobile rugged handheld reader. The mobile biometric scanner is designed for rapid mobile fingerprint capture and smart card authentication and features an integrated LCD graphic display that delivers high quality images in the field for rapid verification of subjects' identities. The Be.U Mobile reader also operates using multiple wireless interfaces and is scalable to support high user volume.

The PIVCheck software suite is a cardholder validation and registration tool that provides a seamless transition to HSPD-12 compliance. PIVCheck reads, validates, authenticates, and then registers PIV, TWIC, CAC and FRAC cards into one of sixteen different physical access control systems. After registration, PIVCheck's Certificate Manager continues to re-validate the cards' digital certificates to ensure ongoing compliance, and can suspend the card if any certificates are revoked. PIVCheck is the only listing in four of the GSA FIPS 201 Approved Products List systems categories.
